ASA History Timeline

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) bought CSRA.

• 1,084 active accounts on the High Performance Computing (HPC) system. Usage includes the fields of Chemistry, Bioinformatics and Civil Engineering.
• Additionally have 364 college students across the universities that are connected to the network using HPC services.

Security Operations Center (SOC) was established providing firewall reviews and hardening, external scanning and Cybersecurity monitoring.

ASA received CARES funding to provide Next Generation Palo Alto Firewalls to K-12 school systems that originally received managed classic firewall services from ASA.

The AREN provides broadband connections to over 650 sites (including K-12 schools, community colleges, major universities, and libraries) in all 67 counties.

Next Generation Firewalls were installed in K-12 school systems to improve the security of ASA's network and the school systems.
