Managed Co-Location Services

ASA provides co-location services at the Alabama Supercomputer Center in Huntsville, AL for all AREN clients that subscribe to Managed Internet Access Service.

The Alabama Supercomputer Center has been designed to deliver high availability of co-location services primarily due to it's redundant power, HVAC system, and Internet backbone. Commercial power is backed up with dual generators (one diesel and one natural gas). Each generator is capable of running all critical services including co-located equipment. Two sources of conditioned power (A+B) are available with each source incorporating its own redundant UPS system.
