Colocation configurations all utilize ASA provided locked 48U cabinets with dual power distribution units (PDU), one sourced by “A” power and one sourced by “B” power.  ASA provides standard configuration models based on the client’s equipment power requirements with total cabinet power limited by the PDU breaker (208V/20A, 208V/30A, etc.).  Although other voltage options (120V, etc.) can be provided, ASA encourages our hosting clients to utilize the more efficient 208V power commonly used by ASA and most of its hosting clients.  Most network equipment in use today utilizes power supplies that can self-regulate to a variety of voltages, including 208V.
