The Alabama Supercomputer Authority provides web development services and hosting services for several organizations within the state of Alabama.


ASA provides web hosting and maintenance services for the ACCESS Distance Learning website.


ASA provides email services for the Legislative Data Center.


ASA provides web hosting services for the Gulf-Central GigaPop. The Gulf-Central GigaPop Network connects Alabama to "Southern Crossroads", a national connection point in Atlanta, linking to UCAID/Abilene national network and NSF-sponsored vBNs national netowork, providing high-speed network connection to the research institutions within the state of Alabama.


ASA provides web hosting and web development services for the Alabama Learning Exchange (ALEX). ALEX is a project of the Alabama Department of Education. It is designed to compile many types of educational materials and information into a time-saving one-stop resource for teachers and administrators in Alabama. ALEX includes courses of study content standards, lesson plans, and web resources.


ASA provides web hosting services for the Alabama Public Library Service. The Alabama Public Library Service (APLS), the State Library Agency, was created from the Library Division of the Department of Archives and History by Act 600 of the State Legislative in 1959. The objectives of the Alabama Public Library Service are: (1) To provide library services to the citizens of Alabama directly or through local libraries. (2) To provide library services for those with special needs through the Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. (3) To provide library services to the Alabama State employees to meet their work related information needs. (4) To assist in establishing cooperative library services and networks. (5) To provide continuing education opportunities for librarians.


ASA provides web hosting and web development services for the award-winning Alabama Virtual Library (AVL), one of the most outstanding programs to come from the state in decades. Representatives from five state agencies manage the AVL in order to bring an extensive collection of online resources to Alabama's schools, colleges, universities, and public libraries. As the technical partner, ASA has developed a remote access system that allows students, educators, and Alabama citizens to browse library catalogs and unique reference materials from the classroom, home, or office. AVL was recognized in 2000 by SOLINET as an Outstanding Library Program in the multi-type library cooperation category, an award that recognizes "library accomplishments that illustrate the benefits of library collaboration, serve as models of effectiveness, or advance the development of innovative programs." ASA provides hosting services for the Council for Leadership in Alabama Schools. CLAS is the state's voice for school leaders. It is an umbrella association serving eleven different affiliate organizations. As an umbrella, CLAS provides professional development, communications, legal support, legislative lobbying, recognition and more to all members.


ASA provides web hosting services for the Legislative Reference Service. LRS is the principal bill drafting and legal research office serving the Legislature of the State of Alabama. It is one of four nonpartisan agencies serving both the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Legislature of the State of Alabama.


ASA provides email hosting services for the Legislative Fiscal Office. The LFO is a nonpartisan office established to provide independent, accurate, objective information to members of the Alabama House of Representatives and Alabama Senate with respect to historical, current, projected and proposed appropriations, expenditures, taxes and revenue, as well as any other information requested.


ASA provides hosting services for the Library Management Network. Library Management Network, Inc. (LMN) was incorporated as a non-profit organization to develop and maintain a shared computer database of the materials held in participating north Alabama libraries and to extend and provide library automation capabilities, at reasonable costs, to those libraries of multiple types.


ASA provides web and/or email hosting services for the following libraries in Alabama: Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library, Athens-Limestone Public Library, Selma-Dallas County Public Library, Huntsville Madison County Public Library, Jefferson County Library Cooperative, and the Eufaula Carnegie Library.


ASA provides web and/or email hosting services for the following K-12 school systems in Alabama: Arab City, Barbour County, Bibb County, Brewton City, Bullock County, Chilton County, Choctaw County, Clarke County, Coffee County, Conecuh County, Cullman City, Dale County, Elmore County, Fayette County, Greene County, Henry County, Houston County, Jasper City, Lamar County, Lanett City, Lawrence County, Leeds City, Linden City, Lowndes County, Midfield City, Marengo County, Piedmont City, Pike County, Randolph County, Roanoke City, Sumter County, Tallapoosa County, Tarrant City, Washington County, Wilcox County, and Winston County.


ASA provides web and/or email hosting services for the following colleges and universities in Alabama: Alabama College System, Alabama Fire College, Central Alabama Community College, Bevill State Community College, Bishop State Community College , Drake State Community College, Enterprise-Ozark Community College, Northeast Alabama State Community College, Talladega College, University of Alabama at Huntsville, Wallace State Community College at Dothan.


In the past, ASA assisted in the creation of the Alabama Archive & History website and the Alabama Governor's website. The current Governor's website was created and is now hosted by ISD Internet Services. ASA also created and hosted the Web 2020 website for Region 2020.
